You do this
As a Process Operator at Champi-mer, you are responsible for operating the highly automated freezing line for high capacity processing of fresh mushrooms into a frozen finished product. The process goes from pallet set-up, through the pre-processing line and the freezing tunnel, to packaging. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for realizing the production orders according to the planning and guidelines, keeping a close eye on the settings of all (control) equipment. In this way you achieve maximum output within the set criteria. For this you work with high-quality process equipment. In addition, you are responsible for:
- Performing general maintenance, including cleaning machines, fixing simple malfunctions and making minor repairs to machines;
- Dosing of additives according to established specifications;
- Sampling for analyses and ensuring hygiene, order and cleanliness around the production or packaging lines;
- Identify complaints, undesirable situations and opportunities for improvement and communicate this to the immediate supervisor;
- Act according to food safety standards to ensure quality standards.
You will work with the machine operators and forklift drivers on your shift and report to the team leader.

You have a strong affinity with technology and the food industry and find it a challenge to keep the production process running smoothly and without disruptions. Working in a team suits you, but you can also work well independently. In addition, you find it no problem to work in a three-shift operation. Our shifts are from:
- 05:00 to 13:00
- 13:00 to 21:00
- 21:00 to 05:00
You can do this
- You have experience as an operator in the food industry;
- You have knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP;
- You can work well together, but also perform your tasks independently;
- You have a command of the Dutch language. German and English are a plus;
- You are eager to learn, solution-oriented and have a proactive work ethic.
